Purpose

What is the purpose of Mobile Learning?

     Mobile Learning is changing the way that students learn.  Mobile Learning is addressing a large number of problems in our educational system (West, 2013). Mobile devices allow not only teachers but the parents and students to gain access to digital information about what their child is learning and even personalized assessments and instruction where as a few years ago differentiating instruction was more difficult and not as personalized (West, 2013).  With mobile devices the students can now collaborate, communicate, learn, share, create and be a part of school with a vast amount of "rich" resources at their hands (West, 2013).
